9th Quam IR Awards held in Hong Kong amid volatile market

HONG KONG, May 24, 2024 – (ACN Newswire) – The Quam IR Awards 2023 (“QIRA” or “The Awards”) ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Four Seasons Hotel on 24 May 2024, recognising investor relations teams that are adapting to the times and outstanding companies demonstrating excellent sustainable development management in a rapidly changing environment.

Transparent and fair corporate disclosure promotes healthy financial markets

Fairness and transparency of information disclosure to the public are very important factors that the public considers when making investment decisions. This not only enhances the public’s understanding of companies, but also helps promote the healthy development of financial markets. Special Award for Sustainable Development Achievements

To recognize organizations’ performance and contributions in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, Quam IR has again this year partnered with Hong Kong Sustainability Strategic Advisory Limited (HKSSA), a consulting firm focusing on corporate sustainable development capabilities, to professionally select winners of the “Sustainable Development Category” awards and recognize companies that have demonstrated outstanding overall performance in ESG aspects.

In addition, there are three special awards: “Sustainable Development Report of the Year”, “Sustainable Development Carbon Management Award” and “Sustainable Development Carbon Management Approach of the Year”. These awards aim to highlight companies that have demonstrated exemplary performance in protecting the environment, especially in energy-saving and carbon-reduction efforts.

Uncertain macroeconomic climate highlights importance of investor relations
