Dealer principal of Bowman Chevrolet in Clarkston acquires dealership in Clinton  – The Oakland Press

Katie Bowman Coleman, dealer principal of Bowman Chevrolet in Clarkston and president/CEO of Bowman Auto Group, announced the acquisition of the Chevrolet of Clinton dealership, located in Clinton in Lenawee County. The dealership will now operate as Bowman Chevrolet of Clinton.

“The Clinton Chevrolet location has been a cornerstone of its community for more than 65 years,” said Katie Bowman Coleman.

“This acquisition is an opportunity to preserve the dealership’s legacy, while allowing us to expand into new markets, given its proximity to Chelsea, Saline, Adrian, Ann Arbor, Jackson and other surrounding cities.”

The Clinton Chevrolet franchise was first established in 1957. Today, the 21,000 sq.-ft. dealership sits on 25-acres located at US-12 and M-52, and has 36 employees. This will be the fifth retail location under the Bowman brand, which includes Bowman Chevrolet, Bowman Isuzu Commercial Truck, Bowman Pre-Owned and Bowman Auto Center.
