Applicants must qualify for the funding, including having to own the damaged home, and using it as their primary residence. The program also requires the homeowner’s mortgage to be in good standing, and others.

Homeowners can be awarded up to $170,000 in assistance depending on the extent of the damages.

The County can use the money to purchase emergency supplies for residents, repair damage to the home and property, and provide flood and homeowners insurance to the residents.
