Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant extended a warm welcome to Mysore Cafe owner Shanteri Nayak at their wedding festivities in Mumbai over the weekend. A heartwarming video of the couple greeting Shanteri Nayak at the venue is swiftly going viral.

Anant Ambani married Radhika Merchant in a grand ceremony at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 12. Their wedding was followed by three events including a ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ ceremony and two receptions.

As soon as Anant spotted Shanteri Nayak amid other guests at their wedding reception, he called Radhika and introduced her, saying: “Meet Mysore Cafe owner.” Delighted, Radhika walked towards Nayak and greeted her with a big smile as she held her hands.

“Every Sunday, we eat your food at our house,” Radhika said, as Anant added, “Thank you so much.”

Akash Ambani’s wife Shloka Mehta and Isha Ambani’s husband Anand Piramal were also seen greeting Nayak with folded hands in the video.

Mysore Cafe, one of Mumbai’s oldest restaurants in the Matunga area, is renowned for their South Indian menu. Anant Ambani’s father, industrialist Mukesh Ambani, had said in an interview that Mysore Cafe is his favourite restaurant where he often visited as a student.

Radhika and Anant’s ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ ceremony, held on July 13, was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, apart from global celebrities, business tycoons, spiritual leaders, and politicians among others.

The ceremony was followed by a wedding reception – ‘Mangal Utsav’ – hosted by the couple on July 14. Another reception party was scheduled on July 15 as well.
