LJ Inc. names business development director

LJ Inc., a family-owned company whose services focus on turnkey plants and clamshell dredges, named Elliot Archibald director of business development.

Archibald previously served Supreme Manufacturing as vice president of sales and marketing.

Based in Swartz Creek, Michigan, LJ’s services involve turnkey plant design and build; plant upgrades; plant erection and construction; plant automation and electrical services; and clamshell dredge design, build, relocation and upgrades.

“We feel Elliot is one of those individuals brought to us at just the right time to develop the next up-and-coming stages of LJ,” says LJ’s Laura and Tracy Slieff in a written statement. “As our growth begins to extend outside of our home state of Michigan, we knew we needed someone to lead that growth charge.”

Archibald, who resides in Butte, Montana, looks forward to the opportunity at LJ.
