Ram 1500 Tradesman Warlock Returns For 2024 As Affordable Off-Road Workhorse

Ram has announced the updates for the 2024 model year 1500 pickup truck, including the continuation of the Warlock package on the Tradesman variant alongside the previously announced 1500 TRX Final Edition.

Stellantis is bringing back the Warlock package on the Ram 1500 Tradesman for 2024. Introduced in 2019 as a package for the Ram 1500 Classic, the company introduced it to the sixth-generation 1500 in 2023. Now, it will return again as an affordable off-road truck, adding much-needed mechanical upgrades without the hefty price tag that often accompanies models like the F-150 Tremor.

Based on the affordable Tradesman derivative, the Warlock package includes an electronic rear-locking differential, skid plates, a one-inch lift, 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, Bilstein front and rear shock absorbers, and much more, including a bunch of tech (the 8.4-inch touchscreen included) and unique styling. Last year, the Warlock package came in at $2,995, but its 2024 pricing hasn’t yet been confirmed.

Other features of the 2023 Warlock package included blacked-out trim and badging, Warlock decals, an 8.4-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, a seven-inch display cluster, Apple CarPlay, and Selec-Speed Control. We assume this and more will be back for 2024, though the company hasn’t released the full list just yet.

Opting for the Warlock also adds the Tradesman Level 1 Equipment Group as well, which includes carpet floor covering, a cloth bench seat, front and rear floormats, power sliding rear window, and Sirius XM. If you want more power with your Tradesman Warlock, the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 comes in at a $2,995 option as well.

The continuation of the Warlock package is a small part of all the big things the Ram has in store for 2024. In a sort of switching of the guards, the company will introduce the all-electric 1500 REV in the same year the iconic 1500 TRX will go extinct. The company recently confirmed the sad news, saying production of the V8-powered super pickup will cease at the end of this year, with the 2024 models being the last to roll off the line.

This is very sad news for all of us who have loved the ridiculous pickup since its debut, but unsurprising given its other Hellcat-powered siblings are being sent out to pasture by the end of this year as well. Luckily, this means a ton of special editions have been announced to help ease the transition, and at the very least, the Tradesman Warlock will continue to keep awesome-sounding trucks alive and well.
