Janhvi Kapoor panicked at Radhika Merchant’s bridal shower, shares why boys joined them

Actor Janhvi Kapoor recently shared why she panicked at Radhika Merchant’s bridal shower, which took place in April. Radhika married Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, on July 12. Janhvi, a close friend of Radhika, participated in almost all the wedding functions of the couple.

Reflecting on Radhika’s bridal shower, Janhvi described it as a lot of fun. “It wasn’t last minute, but we thought it would be much more intimate, and it was very intimate. At the last minute, I realised it couldn’t be basic, so then we all started panicking,” the ‘Dhadak’ actor recently told Mashable India.

She explained that she and her group of friends wanted to make the day very special for Radhika. She added, “We honestly wanted to make her feel as special as possible. She always takes such good care of us, and just as a friend group, we wanted to celebrate her before her big moment.”

Janhvi’s boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, and Anant Ambani also joined them at the bridal shower. When asked if they gatecrashed the party, Janhvi replied, “No, we planned it. We are very needy as a friend group and always need to have each other.”

For the party, Radhika’s bridesmaids dazzled in pink pyjamas and tiaras, while she looked lovely in her white outfit and crown. Janhvi looked gorgeous as she let her hair loose at the party. Radhika’s elder sister, Anjali Merchant Majithia, was also seen in the photos.

Sharing the photos, Janhvi wrote, “A Princess Diaries Royal slumber party for the most special bride.”

Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in the action-thriller Ulajh. The film, also starring Gulshan Devaiah, will be released in theaters on August 2.
