Eye-watering prices of jewelry worn by Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding guests revealed

Jewelry influencer Jewels with Jules has been documenting the Ambani wedding – and shocked her followers when she ended up actually attending the over-the top nuptials and showing off the lavish ceremony from within. 

New York City-based gemstone wholesaler Julia Hackman Chafe, better known as Jules to her 206,000 TikTok followers, shared multiple videos showing off the most extravagant jewelry worn at the wedding.

The wedding was held in Mumbai on Saturday, and boasted an A-list guest list, including Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Priyanka Chopra, John Cena, and Nicky Hilton. 

Anant Ambani, who’s the son of the 13th richest man in the world, Mukesh Ambani, married pharmaceutical heiress Radhika Merchant. 

To find out exactly how much some of the most lavish jewelry at the wedding cost, FEMAIL spoke to Olivia Landau, founder and CEO of the educational diamond blog The Clear Cut. 

Olivia told DailyMail.com that in the video Jules posted of Shloka Mehta wearing an elaborate necklace as well as earrings and a nose ring, she appears to be wearing 450 carats of diamonds, which would cost millions.

‘Based on the video, the earrings would approximately cost $1 million and the necklace would costing over $4 to 5 million,’ Olivia said.

Ashley Taylor, who owns Taylor Custom Rings and designs pieces with her husband in Carlsbad, California, estimated the necklace could’ve easily cost $25 million, and her whole heart diamond set could’ve been more than $30 million. 

‘As Jules mentioned in the video, heart shaped diamonds are very rare and especially difficult to scale to similar sizing which really makes her look stand out,’ Olivia added. 

Commenters were curious about the unique pieces, calling the heart diamond set in particular ‘violently iconic’ and writing, ‘Dying to know what Lorraine Schwartz’s insurance policy looked like for all the jewels she had on loan for this one event.’ 

In another video, Jules showed off all of the elaborate jewels guests wore during the first night of the festivities, starting with Priyanka Chopra, who was in a mix of diamonds and rubies from Bulgari. 

Olivia said that her look would cost several million dollars – and while her watch might not stand out, it’s the most unique piece she’s wearing with a halo of diamond and rubies, which would cost several hundred thousand dollars. 

‘Another show-stopping piece featured in this video is Shanaya Kapoor’s dazzling jewels wrapped around her head and hair,’ Olivia said, estimating the Bollywood star’s jewels would also cost a few hundred thousand dollars.

Kim Kardashian’s 150 carats of diamonds on her headpiece and necklaces were another supremely flashy look from jeweler to the stars Lorraine Schwartz – which Olivia valued about $4 to 5 million.

Kim wore a 35-carat marquise-cut stone suspended from a 55-carat chain along with a 23-carat pear-cut diamond on a 40-carat chain, as well as two pear-shaped diamonds. 

Ashley thought Kim’s bling might be closer to $15 million, considering the quality grades and that they were larger diamonds, along with her headpiece and earrings. 

‘The marquee diamond on her necklace alone is around $2 million,’ Olivia estimated.

Not everyone on TikTok was impressed with the reality star’s jewelry, with one person jesting, ‘and still next to the Ambani jewels it look poor’ and another asking, ‘Was it borrowed from them? I know she’s rich but.’ 

Many commenters adored the diamonds, with one raving, ‘I think this is one of Kim’s best jewelry looks ever!!!!!!’ and another saying, ‘She was absolutely stunning she looks like a princess.’ 

When FEMAIL reached out to Jules, she joked the jewelry at the event would be worth millions and said, ‘There are no jewels in the world this crazy.’
