Visa launches “She’s Next” grant competition in Kenya

Visa has launched its ‘She’s Next’ global advocacy program in Kenya to help build an inclusive and fair world for women business leaders. It aims to support women-owned small businesses through funding, training and mentoring.

Women entrepreneurs from all industries and sectors can apply for the chance to receive grants of up to KES 2.5 million. In addition to prize money, top applicants will receive training and development sessions courtesy of Visa and its partners.

“We are excited to bring She’s Next to Kenya and provide a platform for female entrepreneurs to succeed. We believe women have the power to drive economic growth and social progress, and this is an opportunity to provide them with the resources, tools and support they need to grow their businesses,” said Eva Ngigi Sarwari, Kenya Country Manager, Visa.

Since 2020, Visa has awarded more than 250 grants and coaching for women entrepreneurs through this program around the world, including the United States, Canada, India, Ireland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Morocco. has invested over $3 million in
