2nd annual Medford event raises money for St. Jude’s

The second annual Feel the Music Concert Extravaganza charity event took place in Medford Sunday afternoon.

Long Island artists performed at Medford Memorial Park as audiences and local businesses raised money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Cathy LoSchiavo organized the free event. She says it raised almost $3,000 last year. This year, she thinks it will be close to $5,000.

LoSchiavo says local businesses raised over $600 ahead of the event.

“The community is wonderful…We have a full park, all of the musicians, we have 16 bands lined up, and they donate their time and talent for this cause,” she said.
