MJHS seeking auction items – DiscoverMooseJaw.com

The Moose Jaw Humane Society will be holding their online auction once again this year from September through October, and they’re looking for donations from local businesses 

“We have a sneak peek album, and we will showcase your business and what you do, what’s unique about you,” explained Donna Fritzke, fundraising coordinator with the Moose Jaw Humane Society. 

Fritzke said that 450 items were donated for last year’s auction including hand-crocheted toys, watercolour paintings, quilts and gift cards, leading to $20,000 being raised for the MJHS.  

With around 80 animals currently being cared for by the Moose Jaw Humane Society, costs add up. “We want to just make sure that we care for these pets the very best that we can.” 

“Working with our community is amazing. People love their animals, and they’re always willing to help, so we’re excited for the auction. It’s a great fundraiser for us,” added Fritzke.
