CHEVY CHASE, Md. —PM Hotel Group PM Hotel Group has announced a partnership with Procure Impact, pledging to create 2,000 hours of work for people who are often overlooked through product purchases on the Procure Impact platform as part of its Dignity at Work Pledge.

“PM Hotel Group believes in people-first hospitality and is proud to support the Dignity of Work Pledge alongside Procure Impact and AHLA,” said Ryan Butler, corporate director of sustainability and energy at PM Hotel Group. “As a company, we are committed to our core values of respecting one another, our communities and the planet. We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to contribute to society and achieve economic independence. By aligning our procurement practices with our values, we can drive meaningful change and create a more inclusive economy.”

The Procure Impact Marketplace features thousands of American-made products across hospitality categories, including grab-and-go snacks, food and beverage, bath and spa products, retail, furniture, art, VIP amenities, and more. Each approved vendor on the Procure Impact Marketplace hires individuals with work disabilities, creating jobs and supportive services to help vulnerable populations build brighter futures. Beneficiaries of Procure Impact’s efforts include resettled refugees, victims of human trafficking, people with disabilities, veterans, and individuals who have experienced trauma, poverty, homelessness, and incarceration.

Procure Impact tracks the impact each transaction has on the platform by calculating the number of shift work hours generated by each purchase, making it easy for hospitality companies to report impact goals and measure progress. PM Hotel Group is furthering its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility by adopting the Dignity of Work Pledge, a new Procure Impact initiative launched in partnership with the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), the largest hotel association in the United States. PM Hotel Group will increase the percentage of purchases made by vendors on Procure Impact’s platform and report progress, which will be shared on AHLA’s Responsible Stay website.

“Through responsible sourcing, we have the power to shape not just experiences, but entire communities,” said Lauren McCann, founder and CEO of Procure Impact. “PM Hotel Group’s commitment to the Dignified Work Pledge demonstrates that the best service we can offer our hotel guests is not just a comfortable bed or a delicious meal, but a heartfelt welcome that says, ‘You belong here.'”
