More than a week after a reported theft in Chamberlain, Sask., Craik RCMP have released more information about the suspects involved.

On Aug. 1, just before 10 p.m., a man refuelling his vehicle at a business in Chamberlain encountered four people he didn’t know.

They tried to sell him “gold or other items,” but when he refused to buy, they started threatening him, RCMP said in a news release on Friday. They forced him to go into the store and take cash from the ATM, then stole the cash from him.

The man was not physically injured.

RCMP released photos and video footage of two of the four people involved, as well as the vehicle they were driving.

The RCMP said the suspects were driving a grey or silver Dodge Durango — they don’t know the licence plate number — and two of them were captured on surveillance video.

The first man has a medium build, dark hair, a beard and a moustache, and was wearing a blue collared shirt and dark shorts.

The second man has a large build, balding dark hair, a beard and a moustache, a tattoo on his right calf and was wearing a white collared shirt and black shorts. He also wore a ring on his left ring finger.

At different times during the incident, each of the two men wore a dark blue Toronto Maple Leafs ball cap with a white bill.

RCMP said the other two suspects, who are not clearly visible in the video, are an older woman and a younger woman.

As the investigation continues, RCMP ask anybody with information about the suspects to call 310-RCMP (7267) or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Anyone who sees the suspects or their vehicle is instructed not to approach them.
