Former Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) Rizeka Tonjeni has breached her bail conditions by applying for a passport just two weeks before she is sentenced on corruption charges for accepting bribes from controversial company Digital Vibes.
After convicting Tonjeni on Friday, the Pretoria Commercial Crimes Court rejected his application for bail pending sentencing because the defendant had breached his bail conditions, sparking speculation he may flee.
