The event will be held from 11th to 13th June 2024 at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, with over 300 exhibitors representing brands and companies from over 50 countries.

Nine countries will have exhibitor pavilions including Turkey, Dubai, China, India, USA, Indonesia, Italy, Egypt and Tunisia, in addition to large delegations from the UAE, UK, Thailand, Ukraine, Ghana, Algeria, Malaysia, Netherlands and many more who will be using the exhibition to launch new products in Nigeria and West Africa as well as meet new business partners.

Now in its fifth year, Food & Beverage West Africa is the largest food and beverage trade fair on the African continent, and is expected to attract more than 6,000 visitors over the three days.

The exhibition is organised by BtoB Events. Exhibition Manager Brad Smith said: “This year’s exhibition will feature more exhibitors, more countries and more products than ever before. If you’re looking for new and exciting products not yet seen in the West African market, FAB is definitely not to be missed.”

“FAB 2024 will feature more countries and exhibitors than ever before. In addition to the regular pavilions from Turkey, Dubai, India, Indonesia and Egypt, new pavilions will be added from the USA, China and Italy. For the first time, we will also welcome exhibitors from countries such as Mexico, South Korea, Hong Kong, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Iran, Libya, Turkmenistan and Nepal.”

The event is known for the number and range of international exhibitors, attracting visitors from the West African region and beyond.

“We pride ourselves on our exhibition representing international standards of quality. It is a unique exhibition that showcases the global food and beverage industry to Nigeria, engaging both exhibitors and visitors looking to do business in the West African region,” Smith said.

One of the international exhibitors, Xena’s Food Group, is a Platinum Sponsor of FAB West Africa. Based in London, Xena’s is a food wholesaler specialising in the finest fresh condiments, oils and ingredients. The company has noted the growing demand for quality ingredients in the Nigerian market and sees great potential in the region.

“FAB West Africa offers a unique opportunity to connect with leading players in the food industry, particularly in the West African region,” said Kocher, head of international trade.

“We believe this targeted approach is perfectly aligned with our goal of expanding our presence in Nigeria and neighbouring countries. We see this event as a strategic platform to showcase our products.”

“Our main goal is to establish Xena’s Food Group as a trusted supplier of premium food products in the African market. We aim to build partnerships with distributors, wholesalers, hotels and restaurants whilst showcasing our extensive range of high quality mayonnaise, ketchup, flour, edible oils, chicken, eggs, grains and much more.”

Another international exhibitor is Linc Drinks, also from London, which produces alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Zoryana Slater, export manager at Linc Drinks, is excited to be attending Food & Beverage West Africa.

“We recognise the huge potential in the African market, particularly Nigeria, and see FAB West Africa as a strategic platform to showcase our premium beverages. We aim to establish strong relationships with industry stakeholders, distributors and consumers to drive brand awareness and market penetration.”

“We aim to develop strategic partnerships, secure distribution channels and generate significant interest in our products, including private label options,” Zoryana Slater said.
