A video of Katy Perry performing her hit song “Firework” has reportedly been shared from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s ongoing pre-wedding bash aboard a luxury cruise ship.
Pop star Katy Perry is reportedly the latest music icon to perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash, a day after the Backstreet Boys took to the stage to perform a set. A video of the “Firework” singer enthralling guests with her performance on board a luxury cruise is being widely shared online. Sharing the same video, several fan accounts of Katy Perry said that she joined the cruise in Cannes. In the video, the pop singer can be seen in a silver gown with an elaborate train. She was accompanied by her team of background singers and musicians, who were dressed in white.
The cruise is set to conclude on June 1, after having started in Italy. According to a Free Press Journal report, Katy Perry was reportedly paid over $5 million for the performance, which roughly converts to nearly Rs 45 crore. The Sun reported that she is being paid ‘in millions’.

Previously, a video of the band Backsteet Boys performing for the Ambanis surfaced online. It is also speculated that celebrity DJs David Guetta and Black Coffee also played at one of the events during the second pre-wedding bash of Anant and Radhika, the children of billionaire industrialists. The couple celebrated their first pre-wedding bash in Jamnagar in March.
While these reports are yet to be confirmed, the Ambanis do have a record of bringing international icons to their parties. In March, pop icon Rihanna and Akon visited Jamnagar to perform at Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding bash.

For Isha Ambani’s wedding in 2018, the Ambanis had invited Beyonce for a special performance. For the opening of NMACC, the family had invited several international figures including Gigi Hadid, Tom Holland-Zendaya, Penelope Cruz, and Priyanka Chopra–Nick Jonas, among others, to Mumbai.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, who got engaged in 2022, will tie the knot on July 12 at the Jio World Centre, Mumbai.
