The Ambanis have returned to India from their Italian sojourn, after a lavish pre-wedding extravaganza for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The four-day affair took place between May 29 and June 1, 2024, and saw around 800 guests in attendance including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan.

Now, all eyes are set on Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s big fat Indian wedding in July. Contrary to reports suggesting that the nuptials were going to take place abroad, Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s youngest son will be getting married to Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant’s youngest daughter in India only. A “Save the Date” card has already been sent to the wedding guests, according to ANI.

A red and gold “Save the Date” card has revealed intricate details about Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s upcoming nuptials. The grand wedding ceremony will take place between July 12 and July 14, 2024. The wedding venue picked by the couple is the Ambani family-owned Jio World Centre, located in BKC, Mumbai.

The first of three wedding ceremonies will be the Shubh Vivaah (Auspicious Wedding) taking place on Friday, July 12. The dress code for the traditional nuptials is Indian traditional. The Shubh Aashirwad (Divine Blessings) will take place the next day on Saturday, July 13. The dress code is Indian formal. Ending the weekend on a grand note, the Ambanis and Merchants will host the Mangal Utsav (Wedding Reception) on Sunday, July 14. The dress code is Indian chic.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s 2nd pre-wedding celebration was nothing short of spectacular as it included musical performances by Guru Randhawa, Pitbull, Backstreet Boys, Katy Perry, Shakira and legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. The 800 VIP guests set sail alongside the Ambanis and Merchants aboard a luxury cruise liner, which travelled from Italy to the South of France.

As for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s 1st pre-wedding festivities, Mukesh Ambani spent a colossal £120 million (approximately Rs 1259 crore), according to Daily Mail. The 3-day celebrations took place in Jamnagar, Gujarat between March 1 and March 3, 2024. Performances by Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh and Akon dominated the starry affair. Ambani family’s close friends like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan were in attendance, alongside prolific businessmen like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
