A recently published study found that in the developed world, a small group of people who have children regret becoming parents and say if they could turn back time, they would choose to be childless, writes Nthabi Nhlapo.
There is an online community of parents who regret having children, and it’s not for regular reasons such as unplanned pregnancies or postpartum depression. These parents regret making sacrifices for their children or having children for optics, only for it to backfire years down the line.
A recently published study found that in the developed world, 5%-14% of people who have children regret becoming parents and say that if they could turn back time, they would choose to be childless.
