New Delhi: With the wedding date of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant approaching, preparations seem to be in full swing. The wedding festivities of the much-in-love couple are expected to be graced by some of the biggest in the worlds of showbiz, politics, business and sports.

In order to keep the guests enthralled, the Ambanis have planned performances by some of the most popular global entertainers. According to an IndiaToday.in report, it is being said that Adele, Drake and Lana Del Rey are in talks to be flown to India for the event. Sources have informed the media outlet that negotiations are underway to secure dates of the renowned singers for the celebrations in Mumbai. However, there is no official confirmation yet.

Anant Ambani wedding location

The younger son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani will be tying the knot with the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant on July 12, 2024, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in the city. The festivities are planned to adhere to traditional Hindu Vedic customs.

The main ceremonies commence on July 12, 2024, with the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. Attendees have been suggested to dress in traditional Indian attire for the occasion. On July 13, 2024, Shubh Aashirwad is scheduled to take place. Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception, the final event, will be held on July 14, 2024. The dress code for the event is said to be ‘Indian chic.’

Anant and Radhika are believed to be childhood sweethearts. His philanthropist mother Nita Ambani recently visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi to seek blessings and offer the first wedding invitation to Lord Shiva.
