Authorities capture dangerous drug dealer in

A joint special security force, after gathering information and pinpointing the location of one of the most dangerous drug dealers and smugglers connected to regional networks, conducted a raid in the Al-Ruwaished town in Mafraq, according to the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate.

In a statement received by Roya on Saturday, the spokesperson said that the wanted individual fired at the force with an automatic weapon.

The rules of engagement were applied, resulting in the suspect being shot in the foot and subsequently subdued. He was taken to the hospital and arrested, along with two other individuals present with him.

The spokesperson confirmed that the suspect was found with 125 packages of narcotic hashish, 53,000 narcotic pills, a quantity of narcotic crystal, and three firearms, two of which were automatic. Investigations into the case are now underway.
