Coleman business reports $100 damage to property

11:26 p.m. – Midland police responded to the 700 block of Sylvan for a domestic verbal dispute.

9:03 p.m. – Midland police responded to the 2200 block of Jefferson for lost property.

8:29 p.m. – A deputy returned a wallet belonging to a 64-year-old Homer Twp man that was found on a nearby roadway.

7:51 p.m. – Deputies were dispatched to a Coleman business for a complaint of malicious destruction of property that caused $100 worth of damage. Deputies spoke with a 42-year-old suspect from Coleman.  

5:16 p.m. –  Deputies were dispatched to a Jerome Twp residence to investigate a delayed report of a criminal sexual assault.

4:33 p.m. – A 31-year-old woman was found to be in possession of a controlled substance while receiving treatment at MyMichigan Medical Center. A report has been forwarded to the prosecutor.

3:01 p.m. – A deputy spoke with a 51-year-old man who found a handgun after seeing it fall off a moving vehicle. The deputy located the gun owner, who said he accidentally left the firearm on the bumper of his vehicle before leaving home. The handgun was returned to the owner, who was counseled on firearm responsibility.

1:14 p.m. – Midland police responded to West Indian at Jerome for a property damage crash.

10:35 a.m. – Midland police responded to the 6900 block of Eastman for a private property damage crash.

8:46 a.m. – A deputy spoke with a 60-year-old man in Ingersoll Twp regarding fraudulent transactions on his business bank account statement. The man filed a claim with his bank, and he has been reimbursed for the fraudulent transactions.
