Welcome to the latest edition of the Giant Bomb Community Spotlight! @ZombiePieI’m once again honored to host a look back at some site-related news and the best community creations from the Giant Bomb community.

Last week, some were a bit confused when the Giant Bomb X/Twitter account teased an upcoming “positive” announcement. For those wondering, the announcement read: First guest of Giant Bomb @ Nite 2024!

More programming news related here Not a BCR Podcast this weekJiang and others said Giant Bomb staff had to use their usual recording time for the BCR podcast to prepare for other events and commitments, which will resume next week.

No major updates regarding fixes For video players This week, staff and Dylan hinted that prep work for the site’s Summer Game Fest streaming plans has become a top priority, but they promise to share more details by this time next week.

Alzette: The Jewel of Pharamore is often touted as a spiritual successor to the Legend of Zelda CD-i games, and bigsocrates wrote an essay on why that’s definitely the case, and why he enjoyed the game despite some tough gameplay contrivances.

There’s been a lot of Amico news this week, and as you all know, bigsocrates has appeared on the site with a post about what’s going on with the video game junkyard, and how much sympathy should we show to Amico supporters?
