Drug bust connected to Grand Island business

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – A Grand Island man is in jail after a task force found illegal drugs at his business.

Grand Island police said 52-year-old Edward Trotter was arrested for drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of money during a drug transaction and possession of a controlled substance.

Police said the drug task force had a warrant for Pollys Total Eclipse in the 300 block of North Broadwell. On Friday, investigators found approximately 50 fentanyl pills, 1.5 pills of hydrocodone, $600 cash and about four pounds of marijuana.

Police said Pollys Total Eclipse is a vape shop and Trotter is the owner.

Formal charges against Trotter are pending.
