Epiroc acquires Canadian digital geotechnical equipment manufacturer YieldPoint

Epiroc agreed to the acquisition Yield Point Inc.is a Canadian company that provides ground support solutions that enhance safety in mining and civil engineering applications.

Yieldpoint is based in Kingston, Ontario and has approximately 10 employees. The company designs, manufactures and sells digital geotechnical equipment, with customers around the world. Its products, including ground movement sensors and telemetry solutions, are primarily used in underground mining, tunneling and civil construction applications. Yieldpoint’s solutions help digitize ground support and create a safer working environment.

The acquisition is expected to close by the end of the second quarter of 2024.
