The employment rate in Germany increased slightly by 0,1 percent in May 2024 compared to the previous month. This is what can be seen from the data released today by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis). According to data, in May 2024 the number of employed people increased by 68 thousand units for a total of 45,9 million workers throughout Germany. Destatis also communicated that the unemployment rate did not change, remaining stable at 3,3 percent.
