Google Maps captures eerie ‘masked-gang’ in Tokyo described as ‘worst nightmare’

Google Maps isn’t just for finding your way or peeking at a street view of your next destination. For some, it’s a digital treasure hunt to spot the weirdest and most unexpected sights captured by Google’s camera-equipped van, which has documented much of the globe from the road.

Among the strangest images immortalized on Google Maps is a group of eight individuals loitering by the roadside, all donning pigeon masks. These coordinates will guide you to a path in Musashino, Tokyo, Japan, where you’ll find two rows of four feathered friends, reports the Daily Star.

This peculiar snapshot has caused quite a stir on Reddit over time. One user expressed their horror: “My worst nightmares have now come true,” while planning to spend the day hiding in a corner.

Another chimed in with a simple: “Creepy as hell!”
