Greenhouse Foods Trade Highlights Breakfast Demand

Digital Products

Digital Products Greenhouse Food Tradea leading foodservice company in the GCC region, is responding to growing consumer demand for quality breakfast products.

In fact, the demand for breakfast items is growing as hotel buffets become more competitive and costly as consumers demand quality. According to TripAdvisor’s TripIndex Breakfast, 91% of customers prefer to have breakfast at a hotel. Additionally, 83% of guests consider breakfast essential to a good experience.

To meet demand, Greenhouse Foodstuff Trading partners with suppliers across Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia. As a result, strategic partnerships have made the company a preferred distributor for hotels, restaurants, airlines and other food service establishments.

Daniel Chidiac, CEO of Greenhouse Foodstuff Trading, said: “Breakfast products are an essential part of our offering. Additionally, 60% of our portfolio is served at hotel breakfast buffets across the region.”

Additionally, a key pillar of the company’s offering is the sourcing and procurement of innovative new products, including GMO and pesticide-free flour from French supplier Grand Moulin de Paris, as well as the importer of authentic French croissants and pastries from Belgium’s Banquet D’Or.

Another important part of the company’s philosophy is to provide support and innovative breakfast buffet setups to hotels.

The company’s market leadership goes beyond product innovation, which also includes training with the Emirates Culinary Guild and local chefs, and its Greenhouse Innovation Centre, led by Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) and celebrity chefs, explores the latest trends in the industry.

Additionally, to increase sustainability, solar panels have been installed throughout the community’s buildings, reducing utility bills by 33%, and plans for electric trucks are also in the works.

These innovations were recently showcased at an event hosted by Greenhouse Foodstuff Trading and ECG at Zero Gravity on 15th May, which showcased dairy, cheese, bakery, pastry and premium brands such as Elle & Vire, St Dalfour, Julius Meinl and Koita milk.
