How to get free money on your Android phone (sort of)

In this economy, everyone needs the extra help. I am a coupon queen, trying to save money where I can and get money or cents/sense back when I shop. I have already started using Google Play Points and redeeming them for cash or credits. This week, I got a coupon from Google Announced There are plenty of other ways to earn free money, but they require time.

Google Play Points has been a cashback reward for Android users since its introduction in 2019. Play Points can be earned by purchasing in-app items, movies, books, and subscriptions. There are four spending levels: Move up a tierThe more you consistently spend on the platform, the better your weekly rewards will be.

You can exchange Play Points for a variety of things. I’ve exchanged them for movie rentals on the Play Store and in-game currency for games like Pokemon GO. Hello Kitty FriendsCurrently, I have 1,830 points, or about $15 worth of Play Store credit.

How to sign up for Google Play Points

If you are an Android user, use the Android app and subscribe to the service through the Google Play module, you will need to register for Google Play Points. Have to Open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon, and tap Play Points. You participateyou’ll be permanently enrolled in the program. From there, it’s all up to you how much money you’re willing to spend.

Earn play points

As you spend more on the device, your Play Points level increases based on how often you spend a dollar, and you get more rewards – for example, someone at the Gold level, which I’m ranked at, earns 1.2 points per dollar and has access to Gold weekly prizes.

As you work your way up to the Platinum and Diamond levels, you’ll earn slightly more points per dollar, plus get premium access to Google Play Store customer support, so you’ll be the first to chat with a helper.

Starting June 17, US Play Store points earners can earn extra points by playing games. The first game is Diamond ValleyIt’s a treasure hunt themed mini-game where you can win prizes like Pixel devices and earn extra points every time you play.

Gold, Platinum and Diamond rank earners will also get access to new mobile games before they’re released — all part of an incentive to encourage more spending within Google’s Android ecosystem.
