Kokilaben Ambani hosted a grand dandiya night for soon-to-be-married couple Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai. The event was attended by several celebrities.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to tie the knot on July 12. However, the festivities around their wedding started way before in March, continuing till date with the latest being a grand dandiya night hosted by Anant’s grandmother Kokilaben Ambani. The event, that took place in Mumbai on Thursday, was attended by several celebrities including Manushi Chhillar, Meezaan Jafri, Shikhar and Veer Pahariya, among others.
Visuals from the intimate dandiya night have now made it to the internet, giving a sneak peek into the event’s decoration and outfits of the bride, groom, and the guests in attendance. The decoration resembled ISKCON temple with three idols of Radha Krishna placed in a similar manner as most of the ISKCON temples around the world. The dress code for the event was bright ethnic outfits with Radhika Merchant opting for a beautiful purple lehenga paired with bandhani dupatta. To complete her look, Radhika tied her hair in a neat bun and wore diamond jewellery–a choker, pair of earrings and kadas.

Meanwhile, the groom, Anant Ambani wore a floral printed soft pink kurta set. A photo of the couple posing with Kokilaben Ambani and a group of classical dancers, who seemingly performed at the event, is being widely circulated online. In another photo, Radhika can be seen posing with Meezaan Jafri and other guests.
Anant and Radhika will tie the knot at the Jio World Centre, Mumbai, on July 12. Ahead of their wedding, the couple will reportedly have their sangeet ceremony today (July 5). Pop singer Justin Bieber has arrived for the same. Photos and videos of the singer arriving in the country is all over the internet. Post wedding, the Ambanis will host an Aashirwad ceremony on July 13 followed by a grand wedding reception on July 14.
On July 3, the Ambanis celebrated Radhika’s Mameru ceremony–a Gujarati ritual where the maternal uncles of the bride gift clothes and jewellery to the girl ahead of her wedding.
