Amazon has confirmed the issue on its support forums, stating that they are working to resolve the problem.

The Good e-Reader website, which covers e-book news, reported that it may take at least 48 hours before e-books start downloading again, but it could take longer.

Although the outage affects Kindle devices, users can still download ebooks from the Kindle app for iOS and Android.

Many Kindle users have expressed their frustration on social media and forums, with some claiming that the problem is affecting their ability to read ebooks they have previously purchased.
