Kindred Announces Major Changes in Shareholding

Kindred Groupis one of the world’s leading iGaming operators with operations across multiple continents, and has announced changes in shareholding for two of the company’s most prominent shareholders. The company received three large holding notices from the former group on May 21. Kindred said the Wilmington-based investor chose to reduce his stake in the company after increasing it twice.

Before the change, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. held a 0.22% stake in Kindred. The group held a 7.99% stake in the gambling group before selling it earlier this year. After the initial increase, the group has now reduced its stake to 5.64%.

Then, on May 17, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. increased its stake to 6.04%. However, the investor group chose to reduce its stake and voting power to 5.12% later that same day.

Meanwhile, Kindred received another notice regarding a large holding on May 22, this time from JPMorgan Chase & Co. The investor, also based in Wilmington, Delaware, elected to change its large holding in Kindred.

JPMorgan Chase, which held a 4.82% stake in Kindred in April, increased its shareholding and voting power to 5.07% on May 17. Then, on May 20, the investor reduced its shareholding and voting power back to 5.02%.
