Noel family allowed to spend job-earned money

CLARK COUNTY, Ind. (WAVE) – The Indiana Attorney General’s Office and a judge have now agreed to let former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel and his family use money earned from their current jobs for living expenses, as long as they agree not to sell or transfer property.

Per a report from WAVE’s partners, The News & Tribune, Indiana’s Attorney General Todd Rokita and attorneys with his office filed legal action last month attempting to recover millions of New Chapel EMS and Utica Fire Funds that Noel and his relatives are accused of spending illegally.

Noel is facing 31 felony counts while his wife Misty and daughter Kasey are facing felony charges of their own.

Jamey Noel will be able to withdraw up to $3,500 monthly while Misty will be able to use up to $2,500 for personal use plus $3,288 for bills and house upkeep.
