PICTURED: The killer dealer who lured man to his death following tit-for-tat feud

Tony Adams called the shots. He ran his drug-dealing operation on Heywood’s Darnhill estate with an iron first.

Anyone that dared to cross the 34-year-old would face his violent wrath. One of those people was 17-year-old Callum Riley.

Following a tit-for-tat feud, Adams attacked the house Callum shared with his mum, Tracy Marsland, and siblings and lured him to respond.

In anger, Callum and a friend both went to Adams’ home armed with glass bottles and began launching them at his property, in the early hours of September 17, 2022.

Callum and his friend were both stabbed. Whilst his friend survived, Callum sadly died shortly after.

Now Adams’, his son Niall Conaghan, 18, and another man, Dale Heywood, 26, are starting life terms behind bars for his murder.

They are three of number who have been locked up this week in our region. Also facing time behind bars is killer Raami Mohammed, who attacked university student Badri Issa who acted as a ‘peacemaker’ during a fight in south Manchester.

These are the killers who robbed a teenager of ‘his life and future’ following a feud over a cannabis debt. Callum Riley was just 17 when he was murdered.

Callum, from Heywood, was lured to the family home of a drug dealer who he had become embroiled in a tit-for-tat feud with over a £180 drug debt. Hours earlier, Tony Adams had smashed the windows of Callum’s home, where he lived with his mother and siblings.

Fuelled by anger, Callum and a friend both went to Adams’ home armed with glass bottles and began launching them at his property, in the early hours of September 17, 2022. A fracas ensued, in which Callum and his friend were both stabbed.

Callum was able to stagger away from the scene, but collapsed and died shortly after. His friend survived. Dale Heywood, the man who prosecutors said knifed Callum, as well as Adams, and his son Niall Conaghan, who were both armed, were all found guilty of murder.

Adams, 34, and Heywood, 26, were this week handed life sentences following a hearing at Manchester Crown Court, and both ordered to serve a minimum of 24 years in prison. Conaghan, 18, was sentenced to life with a minimum term of eight years.

A judge said it was a ‘miracle’ that no-one was killed after a drunk driver went on a 20 mile motorway rampage. James Loveridge, 28, rammed into other cars and drove the wrong way down the M56 before eventually crashing into a fence in Wythenshawe.

His shocking driving terrorised other motorists, with one, a veteran who had served in Afghanistan, describing it as ‘one of the scariest incidents’ he had ever experienced. Loveridge, who was found to be two-and-a-half times over the drink drive limit, was jailed for just under two years.

A ‘cowardly’ knifeman has been jailed for life for the brutal murder of a university student. Badri Issa, 22, was stabbed to death in the street by Raami Mohamed.

Mr Issa, who hoped to become a mechanical engineer, was heading to the gym with his pal Omar Jeylaani when Mohamed gestured to his friend to pull over in Moss Side. Manchester Crown Court heard Mohamed and Jeylaani had previously been in a dispute over a car.

After stopping their vehicles, the pair became involved in a stand-off. Mr Issa, acting as a peacemaker, got in between them and told them to ‘chill’. As tensions rose, Mohamed pulled a knife and stabbed Mr Issa in the chest.

Last month, Mohamed, 22, was found guilty of murder following a trial. A second man, Kevell Blake, 20, was acquitted of murder, but found guilty of manslaughter. Prosecutors said he ‘assisted and encouraged’ Mohamed in the killing.

Mohammed has now been jailed for life to serve a minimum term of 18 years behind bars.
