Horror author Stephen King has lent his support to the growing campaign to save Robert and Michele King’s acclaimed Paramount+ horror series “Evil”.

King recently revealed his love for the show on a PBS News interview, saying: “It’s great. It’s funny and it’s witty and it’s very, very sharp.”

He then added on Sunday on the X platform: “Dear Paramount+: More EVIL, please”. Series star Katja Herbers responded” “From the bottom of our Evil hearts, thank you!!!”

King then shared that quote, adding the show was “smart, thought-provoking, occasionally VERY scary. Plus, the chemistry between the three evil-hunters is strong and… to quote Kamala… joyful.”

Robert King called the praise “such an honor”. Since the show wrapped up its four-season run the other week, there’s been calls for more to the point that the series has trended on social media several times.

Robert King previously revealed they had ideas for “two more seasons” of the show, but ultimately it was financials more than anything that led to the show’s end.

The darkly humored psychological mystery series sees a forensic psychologist (Herbers), a priest (Mike Colter) and a tech expert (Aasif Mandvi) hired by the Catholic Church to investigate supernatural events.

Michael Emerson, Christine Lahti, Andrea Martin, Kurt Fuller, Marti Matulis, Brooklyn Shuck, Sjylar Gray, Maddy Crocco and Dalya Knapp co-starred in the series which was famed for its wild story twists.

The show’s first two seasons are currently available to stream on Netflix, with all four seasons on the Paramount+ service.
