The Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the official opening date of its student loan application portal as May 24th.
The Managing Director of NELFUND, Mr. Akintunde Sawyer, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Thursday by the Fund’s Head of Media and Public Relations, Mr. Nasir Aitogo.
Mr. Sawyer said the opening of the portal was an important milestone in President Bola Tinubu’s efforts to promote accessible and inclusive education for all students in Nigeria.
He said that through this portal, students can now access loans to pursue their academic aspirations without financial constraints.
He added that the portal provides a user-friendly interface for students to easily submit their loan applications.
“I encourage all eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity to invest in their future and contribute to the growth and development of our country,” he said.
