The man narrated how he was abducted by “men in police jackets” and was driven to the Third Mainland Bridge, where he was made to abandon N2.8 meters at gunpoint.

Business

A businessman spoke on social media about his experience with “men wearing police jackets and carrying guns.”

Jay Trafford said on Instagram that “uniformed” men ambushed him as he was driving a car in Siena around 9:30 p.m. He said they then accused him of being a cultist, handcuffed him and drove him to Bridge 3 on the mainland, forcing him to release N2.8 million.

Read his story below….

Yesterday, on my way home from the gym around 9:30pm, my life flashed before my eyes. Suddenly the Sienna stopped in front of me and men in police jackets with guns approached me. They said this was a stop and search operation and ordered me to open the trunk. I accordingly showed them the car documents. Then they asked to search my cell phone. Suddenly they accused me of being a cultist and shouted, “We’ve got a cultist!” Everything happened so quickly. One of them got into my car and the other handcuffed me and threatened to shoot me if I didn’t get in the car, claiming I was a cult member.

They started driving my car while I was in their van. I had no idea where they were taking my car until I managed to look outside the dark van. Then we found out we were on the Third Mainland Bridge with guns pointed at us.

Long story short, they took me to Agege and demanded a ransom of 10 million naira and threatened to kill me if I did not pay. We searched over 20 of his POS terminals but could not get all the cash that night and after several hours of pleading, about 2.8 million Naira was finally transferred. it was done. They were released around 3:45 a.m.

Nigeria is very dangerous!
