Mitchell said he learned of one of the extramarital pregnancies after he and his ex-wife had a child.

“We had an abortion and then the baby was born, and in the end she told me that the aborted baby wasn’t mine,” Mitchell claimed.

Mitchell set the stage for Shannon, explaining how she found out about her pregnancy. “She knew what was going on” because his ex-wife “stopped coming over,” he said.

“This was back then. We are praying for her now,” the trained pastor said.

In one situation, Kel Mitchell claimed that he was dating one of her friends who often came over to her house while her ex-boyfriend was at work. One night, he decides to go out looking for Hampton and finds her car at her hotel. When he entered the lobby, the same “friend” was walking through the lobby toward a car driven by his ex-wife.

Mitchell confronted the man and demanded he take him to the room where his ex was. The man complied, and Kell said her ex was shocked. Eventually, he peeked into the situation and said that he refused to fight for her after everything he had already been through and walked away.

But once he got to his car, he said he “felt disrespected” and went back to his room. Police were eventually called, and one officer advised him to “run away” from the situation. But Mitchell said she “tried to make it work for the kids.”

A short time later, the ex-wife arrived at the hospital, where doctors told the ex-couple that they had “lost their baby.” Mr Mitchell said he was convinced the baby was not his.

“I didn’t tell my parents or my family what was going on.” He said.

He filed for divorce in 2005 after his ex-wife called him in 2004 to ask her to be with another man while she was away on business. At that point, he realized that his marriage was not at all the love story he had envisioned and wanted to hit his “reset” button.

Elsewhere in the interview, he spoke about finding forgiveness for his wife and how it renewed his faith in God.
