WWE Raw results, live blog (July 1, 2024): Money in the Bank go home

WWE Monday Night Raw comes waltzing back into our lives tonight (July 1, 2024) from the TD Garden Arena in Boston, Massachusetts, featuring all the latest build to the upcoming Money in the Bank premium live event scheduled for this coming Saturday night in Toronto.

Advertised for tonight: Money in the Bank qualifying matches conclude with two more triple threat showdowns in the men’s and women’s divisions. The men’s match: Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus vs. Ilja Dragunov. The women’s match: Dakota Kai vs. Zoey Stark vs. Ivy Nile. Elsewhere, Zelina Vega challenges Liv Morgan for the women’s world championship. Plus, a whole lot more!

WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR JULY 1

Try to make sense out of what we’ve been through adnd I still justify the things I used to do. I don’t believe in nothing – but I believe in you. Take my word and move on, as I liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with the usual montage of people arriving at the arena.

Jey Uso makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He welcomes us to Monday Night Raw and talks about the Money in the Bank ladder match, which he claims he is going to win.

Enter Chad Gable.

He tells these Boston Idiots(tm) (c) that yeet isn’t even a word, but miracle is, and if you look in the dictionary you’ll see his picture next to it. He talks about his accomplishments and Jey challenges him, asking if he didn’t get attacked by the Wyatts, to which Chad says actually they should be going after Jey Uso for abandoning his family.

A brawl breaks out, Jey taking care of business with right hands and a superkick before going up top, but Gable rolls out of the ring!

The lights go down stepwise and the ringing piano notes begin. Gable nervously looks for an escape and ends up backing his way through a forest of ladders on the stage, seeing each Wyatt in turn silhouetted in mist and spotlight. The woman in the white dress has another package for Michael Cole and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Michael Cole tells us there’s another VHS tape in the box and they’ll be getting it to the truck ASAP.
